We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the engineering and contracting industries, particularly in the North-East of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Work closely with our technical, engineering, and estimating teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and strategies to win contracts.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and events to promote our company and forge new connections.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in the engineering and contracting industries in the North-East of England.
  • A well-established network of relevant industry contacts in Teesside.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain access to major engineering projects and secure bid opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to approach business development with a strategic and proactive mindset.
