Learning Support Associate

At Lifeworks, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working in the education sector and can provide support and guidance to students in a positive and respectful manner. The ideal candidate will have great communication and organisation skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for supporting individuals with learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will work alongside tutors to ensure that students are motivated, happy and engaged in their learning and development. They will also inspire and encourage students through their transition from school to college and enable them to learn and practice independence.
We offer a competitive salary of £18,150 per annum, which includes holiday pay, and a starting entitlement of 33 days paid holiday (pro-rata for part time). We also offer a fully funded DBS check and update service, access to valuable resources including an employee assistance program, and the opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
