Key Trims Developer for Global Fashion Leader

We are seeking a skilled and organized Key Trims Developer to join our team at Casablanca Paris. This role is responsible for the development cycle of all trims across Apparel and Accessories, reporting directly to the Senior Fabric & Trim Developer.
**Requirements and Eligibility:*
- A valid right to work in the UK is mandatory.
The Role:
Main Responsibilities- Develop new trims in line with critical path, ensuring timely delivery while balancing creativity, commercial awareness, and quality.
- Attend trade fairs and meetings with suppliers to collate trim research for seasonal and carryover requests.
- Track and report on spend each season, maintaining accurate records.
- Create and update physical and digital trim boards, showcasing design options.
- Translate design requests and artworks into detailed technical specifications for suppliers.
- Place trim orders and monitor tracking for deliveries to meet ex-mill dates.
- Add order information to the work management system, keeping it up-to-date for the wider teams.
- Identify opportunities for sustainable developments, requesting eco-friendly materials and certification where possible.
- Collate pricing and technical information, ensuring timely entry into the PLM system.
- Track and report on spend each season, analyzing trends.
- Hand over raw material details to the Production team at the end of each season.
- Collaborate closely with Production to request bulk feedback amendments when necessary.
- Organize trim base test reports and arrange lab testing to flag potential risks.
- Maintain the trim inventory and archives, ensuring accuracy and organization.
- Monitor stock levels of all trims, both seasonal and carryover, and proactively replenish as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications and Skills- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- An excellent level of technical trim knowledge and CAD skills.
- Familiarity with trim suppliers across the Far East and Europe, with strong contacts.
- Experience working within accessories would be an advantage.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
