Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our New Client Administration team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our client onboarding process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify client information to ensure compliance with our financial crime policies and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive customer due diligence reviews and analysis of information to establish the corporate structure of clients.
  • Escalate AML and sanctions issues in accordance with internal processes.
  • Participate in financial crime working groups and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (and Deputies) to resolve any AML concerns.
Requirements
  • Graduate level qualification (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of risk and compliance principles.
  • Previous experience of working in a risk and compliance function, preferably in a regulated industry such as legal or financial services.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good IT skills, with a knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
