Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Solar Field Service Engineer to join our team at Velocity Recruitment. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar farms across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical components, inverters, and modules to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide electrical maintenance services for a portfolio of solar farms in your designated region, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures, actively participating in risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Electrically competent with a recognized electrical qualification, such as City and Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition), being an advantage.
  • Industrial PV installation/maintenance experience is desirable, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Clean, full driving license is essential for travel to site locations.
