About the Role

Worcestershire Children First is seeking an Education Engagement Specialist to join its Education Engagement Team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with local area partners, educational providers, and colleagues to improve outcomes for vulnerable learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track attendance and participation of pupils in Worcestershire schools
  • Identify and support pupils who are missing education or on elective home education
  • Work with schools and partners to improve attendance and participation rates
  • Provide careers advice and guidance to pupils not in education, employment, or training

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to attendance and CME
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
