Womenswear Technical Specialist Leader

We are a dynamic outdoor retailer looking for a highly skilled Senior Womenswear Garment Technologist to join our technical team.
The successful candidate will have excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a strong background in pattern-cutting, grading, garment construction, and production processes.
Job ResponsibilitiesThis is a hands-on role that requires the ability to develop teams and manage cross-department projects. You will work closely with the buying team to advise on technical and sustainable suitability of fabric, construction, and fit.
You will also be responsible for managing the department testing and AQL programme, monitoring returns data to spot patterns and poor performance to deliver improvements, and building supplier relationships to influence quality and fit.
Requirements- At least 2 years' experience as a senior technologist for a high street retail brand.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable fabrications and certification programmes.
- Experience of working with offshore suppliers.
- Organised, methodical with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Competitive salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.
