Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in Essex. As a key member of the commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding levels of service and contributing to the company's success.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on interesting refurbishment and new build projects ranging from £100,000 to £10 million across Essex, London, and the UK. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, including hotels, casinos, restaurants, and cinemas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and estimates
  • Monitor and control project costs
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a real ambition to follow a commercial career with some proven experience working in a surveying capacity within a contractor environment. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
