Job Title: Industry Placement Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced placement officer to join our team. As the primary point of contact for employers hosting students on work placements, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration between learners, employers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Placement Management: Source high-quality work experience and industry placements for learners aged 16 and over, collaborating with staff to ensure placements align with student career goals.
  2. Employer Liaison: Act as the main contact for employers while students are on work placements, providing exceptional customer service and supporting their needs.
  3. Student Support: Collaborate with learners, employers, and staff to help students achieve their career objectives, monitoring attendance and progress during work placements.

Main Duties:

  1. Placement Quality Assurance: Work closely with staff to guarantee that placements provide students with relevant work and technical skills.
  2. Student Monitoring: Regularly monitor students' attendance and progress during work placements, offering support and guidance as needed.
  3. CMS Updates: Maintain accurate records of past, current, and potential work placements within our CRM system.

Requirements:

  1. Able to start immediately (ASAP).
  2. Enhanced DBS certificate (desired but not essential).
  3. No previous convictions.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
