Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham, UK. This role involves managing requirements, designs, verification, and testing of electrical systems for aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage requirements, designs, verification, and testing of electrical systems
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace products
  • Leverage product development lifecycle knowledge to provide technical support
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer, ideally with power distribution or electrical components/systems hardware
  • Ability to work within a team environment to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Prior experience presenting and reviewing technical information with customers
  • Familiarity with power switching, control circuitry, and software/systems design
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as Electrical Wiring Installation Systems (EWIS)
Qualifications:
  • A HND/Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electrical product design and development, including design for manufacture and test methodologies
  • Ideally have some experience in root cause analysis for hardware issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £46,500 per annum, plus bonus, pension, healthcare, and relocation package if needed.
