Trainee Dental Nurse

Full Time 40 hours per week

Working as a Dental Nurse

A dental nurse works alongside the dentist, assisting in various NHS and private procedures to ensure exceptional patient care and experience.

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work in a supportive environment, where we value teamwork, professionalism, and ownership of our practice's success. This includes:

  • Providing chairside support to the dentist, ensuring the necessary equipment and materials are available
  • Supporting a diverse range of patients
  • Following practice health and safety procedures
  • Maintaining clinical areas, equipment, and instruments in a clean and disinfected state
  • Accurately completing patient clinical records
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks

Training and Qualification

Rodericks Dental Partners supports Trainee Nurses who have signed up to or are working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. We can also assist in finding a course provider for those who have not yet begun a course.

The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (level 3) qualification includes:

  • On-the-job training
  • Online learning
  • Face-to-face training sessions
  • Completion of a record of experience
  • Written and practical exams
