Role Summary

As Deputy Head of Department - Aerospace, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the college's Aerospace department. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve learner outcomes, as well as leading a team of staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a deep understanding of the education sector in Wales and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve learner outcomes
  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including learners, parents, and employers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
What We Offer

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of £49,489 per annum. The role also offers 37 hours of work per week and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners.
