SEN Specialist

A Psychology Graduate with First-Class subject knowledge and experience working with neurodivergent young people is sought for a SEN Specialist role in Bromley. The role involves supporting students 1:1 and gaining experience working alongside the SENCo and other mental health professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a First-Class Degree from a Top 20 UK University, prior experience working 1:1 with a neurodivergent or SEN student, and sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and safeguarding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students within and outside of the classroom environment
- Gain invaluable experience working alongside the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and other mental health professionals
- Develop connections in the field of SEN and enhance skills in psychological support
Role Details:
- $21,250 - $23,100 per month (Paid monthly via PAYE)
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
- Immediate start until July 2025, with opportunities to continue beyond
Requirements:
- First-Class Degree in a related subject from a Top 20 UK University
- Prior experience working 1:1 with a neurodivergent or SEN student
- Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
Extracurricular activities such as sports, music, or languages can be integrated into school life, but are not essential.
