About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at Citizen Housing. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a vital role in strengthening our employer brand and improving customer relationships through the effective use of digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital communications strategy to enhance our online presence and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure our brand is consistently represented across all digital channels.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of digital performance and adjust strategy accordingly to achieve maximum impact.
  • Lead the creation and curation of high-quality content, including copy, images, and multimedia, to engage our target audiences.
  • Build and maintain online communities for various stakeholders, providing coaching and support to colleagues to act as brand ambassadors.
  • Develop and implement a content calendar that aligns with our brand values and objectives.
  • Work with external developers to enhance and expand our digital platforms.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in producing high-quality digital content for various channels, including websites, email, social media, and SEO.
  • In-depth knowledge of mainstream social media platforms and their capabilities.
  • Proficiency in website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and ability to optimize Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant coding tools.
  • Experience in developing social media strategies to support brands and campaigns.
  • Solid professional experience in a social media or digital communications-focused role.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in the housing sector.
