Job Title: Stroke Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stroke Specialist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Stroke Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical advice to patients with stroke, their families, and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality, cost-effective, patient-centered stroke services across NHS Highland.
- Facilitate training and education for staff, patients, and carers across NHS Highland.
- Work with the Stroke Steering Group and others to develop and implement stroke services.
- Audit and evaluate the service and support of the neuro-vascular clinic.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience with at least 2 years in Stroke, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary working.
- Teaching qualification or relevant experience is essential.
- Relevant degree or qualification in stroke care and proven counseling skills would be an advantage.
