Job Title: AAT Accounts Assistant

Join mkodo Ltd as an AAT Accounts Assistant and take the first step in your accounting career. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing and processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain fixed assets register and identify opportunities to simplify and improve accounts processes and internal controls.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including reconciling contractors tables with billing information.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Adhere to all relevant mkodo ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and requirements.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified or studying towards their qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role with demonstrated efficient, accurate, and timely accounting.
  • Previous payroll preparation experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a commercial environment to tight deadlines.
