HR Advisor Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Alexander Mae HR Ltd in South Gloucestershire. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing commercial and pragmatic HR advice to our clients, developing strong business relationships, and managing a range of ER cases.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide HR guidance and support to our clients, handling a variety of HR-related queries and developing strong business relationships.
  2. Manage ER cases, including wellbeing, absence management, contract queries, disciplinaries, grievances, capability, redundancy/restructuring, and family-friendly policies.
  3. Facilitate training sessions to upskill managers and contribute to ad hoc HR projects as required.
  4. Review and improve HR policies, creating and interpreting HR metrics to inform business decisions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with employment legislation and HR best practice, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice.
Requirements
  • Previous HR Advisor experience, with a strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to provide commercial and pragmatic HR advice.
  • Hands-on, operational HR experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality HR services.
  • UK driving licence, with the ability to travel to client sites as required.
