**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil and structural advice, analysis, and designs to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead small projects and sub-tasks from a technical perspective, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Communicate designs effectively to multidisciplinary teams, construction personnel, and stakeholders.
  • Travel occasionally for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings within the region.
  • Support and guide junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Develop and deliver value engineering solutions, challenging conventional approaches to drive innovation.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Civil and Structural design, with at least 10 years in the nuclear industry at all project lifecycle stages.
  • Experience with new and historic structures, optioneering assessments, scope definition, estimate support, and business development.
  • Seismic Design experience is preferred.

**Qualifications**

  • BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Ideal Chartership with ICE or IStructE.

**Working Arrangements**

This role will be hybrid, with some office attendance required weekly. The position will be outside IR35 on successful determination.
