About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a VP of Technology and Media Transactions. As a key member of our mid-market M&A team, you will be responsible for working across the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors on a range of buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Assist with the day-to-day management of transactions, including the preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, and valuation analysis.
  • Industry Research: Conduct research on the TMT sectors to support deal origination and transaction analysis.
  • Valuation and Financial Modelling: Perform valuation work and financial modelling, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and leveraged buyout (LBO) analysis.
  • Business Development: Contribute to marketing and business development opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Strong Academics: Possess a strong academic background, with a degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • Transactional Experience: Have prior experience in transactional roles, with a proven track record of success in M&A or a related field.
  • TMT Sector Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the TMT sectors, with a keen interest in the latest trends and developments.
  • Analytical Skills: Possess excellent numeracy skills, with the ability to absorb and analyze large amounts of data quickly.
  • Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships.
  • Leadership Skills: Show the ability to develop, coach, and motivate junior members of the team.
