Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Support Manager to join our team at LiveWest, responsible for ensuring that our contractors deliver high-quality work aligned with contractual agreements.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all contractors are awarded works in line with their contractual agreements, achieving value for money on all orders placed for specialist works completed by contractors.
  • Evaluating work issued in-line with contract terms and conditions, ensuring specifications are broken down to allow for accurate pricing on all orders, including a valid PO.
  • Validating contracted works delivered in-line with the contract, monitoring KPI performance through system data, and contributing in regular review meetings with contractors.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Trade or building knowledge.
  • SSSTS or SSMTS certification (or willingness to work towards).
  • CDM or H&S legislation qualifications.
  • Knowledge of social housing repairs service and engagement of approved contractors.
  • Ability to manage contractors providing a repairs service to domestic properties.
  • IT literacy, with experience of repair management systems and MS Office.
  • Good commercial awareness and negotiating skills, with a full understanding of financial reports and Excel.
  • Experience of managing performance standards that enable successful achievement of business plans and objectives.
  • Good people skills, with the ability to promote LiveWest to a range of individuals and facilitate strong internal and external relationships.

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.
