West Midlands, United Kingdom BWD Search & Selection Full time
Job Opportunity

BWD Search & Selection is working with an international manufacturing company to find an experienced Trustee Pensions Manager to join their in-house UK Pensions team. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for extensions or permanent transfers. Our client is open to remote working with occasional travel to their West Midlands head office.

The ideal candidate will have strong UK DB Pensions scheme experience, with expertise in Trustee Boards, including acting as Trustee Secretary, preparing papers, taking minutes, and following up actions. They will also have experience managing 3rd party providers, pensions management, project management, and staying up-to-date with current regulations.

This opportunity will allow the right person to work on 6 different schemes, covering DB and DC, and gain exposure to wider trustee board responsibilities. A pension-related qualification, such as PMI, is desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with excellent written skills and a desire to learn and develop their pensions and benefits knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DB Pension Scheme administration experience, governance, and trustee meetings
  • Minute taking, pensions project work, and project management
  • Managing 3rd party providers and staying up-to-date with current regulations

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum experience in DB Pension Scheme administration
  • Confident self-starter with excellent written skills
  • Desire to learn and develop pensions and benefits knowledge

If you have the relevant experience and skills, please contact Jack Heaton at BWD Search & Selection or apply within.
