Planning Lawyer

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is a leading recruitment agency specialising in public sector roles. We are proud to be working with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to recruit an exceptional Planning and Highways Lawyer.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with experience in planning law to join our client's growing legal team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of planning and highway matters, working autonomously on schedule 106 agreements, advising on section 279 matters, dealing with planning enforcement, and undertaking planning committee work.

• Manage a caseload of planning and highway matters

• Build relationships with existing clients and seek new business opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
• Previous experience in planning law from a private practice or public sector setting
