Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead - Mechanical Design to join our team at CV-Library in Whitstable. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of cutting-edge products for critical applications.
You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding best practices in mechanical design, material selection, and testing methods. You will also lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
- Lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support sales by contributing to new engineering opportunities.
- Oversee NPI gate stages from concept to handover to manufacturing.
- Maintain manufacturing documentation using ERP systems.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software and FEA tools.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
