Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Care. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver innovative services that meet the needs of our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide medical leadership and advice to the team, working closely with partners and stakeholders.
  2. Develop and evaluate services, ensuring they are evidence-based and effective.
  3. Liaise with acute hospitals, specialist eating disorders units, and general practice to ensure seamless care.
  4. Supervise the team responsible for medical monitoring and management of high-risk patients.
  5. Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
  • Registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register.
  • CCT, CESR or within 6 months of expected CCT date.
  • Meets Royal College of Psychiatrists criteria for appointment to the post of Consultant.
