About the Role

Our Food and Beverage department plays a crucial role in ensuring our passengers have a smooth and enjoyable experience at the airport. The Prep Chef position is vital in maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations and providing exceptional customer service.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including equipment, preparation areas, and storage facilities.
  • They will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen utensils, crockery, and equipment.
  • The Prep Chef will support the Head Chef in food and dessert preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
  • They will be responsible for organizing stock levels and managing inventory effectively.
  • As part of our 'One Team' culture, the successful candidate will be expected to adapt to changing circumstances and undertake additional tasks as required.
  • They will be required to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and previous experience working in a kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is also essential.
