Job Description

Maintenance Engineer Position

Location: Loughborough

Estimated Salary: £38,500

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt support for equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment to meet validated specifications and safety standards.
  • Set up and change over production equipment to support operational needs.
  • Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues while adhering to GMP standards.
  • Develop and share knowledge with the team to enhance overall departmental expertise.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate GMP documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Formal Engineering Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an FMCG, GMP, Pharmaceutical, or regulated environment.
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety, compliance, and reliability.
  • A proactive approach to sharing knowledge and developing the skills of team members.
