Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical security design and implementation of our data centers and supporting facilities. This is a critical role that requires expertise in physical security design, implementation, and management, as well as strong communication and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physical security design and implementation, including Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV Surveillance systems. You will work closely with our internal teams, including Cluster Security Managers, Data Center Engineering Operations Team, and other stakeholders to ensure that our physical security standards and designs meet the highest level of security and compliance requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing physical security designs and standards for new data centers, data center expansions, and special projects.
  2. Managing vendor on-boarding, Request For Proposal / Request For Quote bidding, contracting, contract execution, QA/QC, and support processes.
  3. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure that physical security standards and designs meet the highest level of security and compliance requirements.
  4. Providing regular status updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders on physical security project progress and outcomes.
