We are seeking a passionate and motivated Drama Educator to join our reputable school in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about education and has a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience. They will be responsible for planning and delivering exciting lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to reach their full potential, as well as monitoring and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students, using a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment.
  • Assessment and Progress: Monitor and assess student progress, keeping regular records of academic performance and providing constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relative field or a recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
  • A sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class.

Salary:

The salary for this role will be paid to scale on a permanent contract, following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale.
