Background:

Pure Search is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join our client, a leading international bank. This role will involve managing and advising the organisation on employment law related matters, compliance, and risks in line with the bank's business strategy and risk appetite across EMEA.

  • Qualified lawyer (ideally E&W) from a reputable law firm and/or notable in-house institution with strong interpersonal skills.
  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK (and preferably EU) employment law.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and the impact of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) on employment documentation, policies, and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
  • Experience of financial services laws and regulations would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

As an employment law specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing employment law advice to all levels of the bank in the EMEA region.
  • Managing and advising on employment law related matters, compliance, and risks.
  • Developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective employment law management.

Requirements:
