As a Financial Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Department and the overall business with timely day-to-day accounting reporting systems and controls.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Assistant Accountant & Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting reporting systems and controls
* Maintaining purchase ledger, actioning non-PO approval flow within ERP system, and dealing with queries effectively and efficiently
* Maintaining sales data mapping, preparing and submitting customer profitability analysis, and preparing and maintaining the Company\u2019s OEE and productivity information
* Ensuring all required financial transactions are processed accurately and timely in order to meet internal and external requirements
* Maintaining test and update accordingly to ensure compliance with the relevant Company\u2019s internal controls environment
* Actively supporting and aligning decisions and actions with OHSE requirements
* Maintaining levels of housekeeping and hygiene as expected and defined by the company
* Operating within/to prescribed quality standards and systems at all times as defined by the Company and customer requirements
* Maintaining a flexible approach to work and being prepared to undertake other tasks within the finance function providing the relevant training has been given
* Actively engaging in Continuous improvement either within personal performance or participating in Continuous improvement initiatives at the site
Requirements:
* Required: GCSE A-C (4+) Passes in Mathematics & English as a minimum
* Desirable: Relevant A Level / NVQ in basic Accounting / book-keeping
* Specific Skills and Abilities:
* Natural enthusiasm

* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Problem solving / Analytical skills
* Time keeping
