Electrical Engineering Position:

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Professional to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As an Electrical Engineering Professional, you will provide technical support and maintenance services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to maintenance requests (on-site and via phone) as directed by team leaders.
  • Fix issues on the first visit whenever possible to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks.
  • Audit and record site configuration data accurately.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for efficient service delivery.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all activities.
  • Participate in rotational out-of-hours coverage.
  • Implement small projects as required, adhering to technical and quality standards.
  • Verify adherence to quality procedures through audits.
  • Provide training to customers and colleagues as needed.
  • Complete any additional tasks necessary to support the team.

Requirements:

  • Background in electrical or mechanical engineering with experience in installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
  • Experience working with fire alarm systems, preferably GENT-based.
  • Essential IT qualifications or electrical/electronic qualifications.
  • Comprehensive technical IT knowledge, including Windows OS installation, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with basic electrical principles, such as measuring voltage and current drain.
  • High attention to detail in paperwork completion and procedure adherence within given timeframes.
