Project Manager

CBRE is the global leader in real estate services, and we're seeking a skilled Project Supervisor to join our team. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe, on-time delivery of projects, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects meet internal and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Be responsible for the safe, on-time delivery of projects.
- Communicate with Head of Projects/Project Manager and customers on project deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
- Identify and pass project opportunities to Head of Projects/Project Manager.
- Liaise with stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes.
- Understand the full scope of project works, including budget requirements and required profit margins.
- Work within the current CDM process, taking on the role of principle contractor.
- Identify, reduce, and manage statutory and commercial risks associated with projects.
- Ensure QHSE practices and processes are embedded in each project.
- Supervise day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including sub-contractor management and site supervisory duties.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects.
- Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with project plans.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
- Identify project opportunities and pass to Head of Projects/Project Manager.
- Leverage opportunities through visibility and presence on customer sites.
- Liaise with colleagues to determine and identify project opportunities.
- Build strong, effective working relationships with customers and site teams.
- Build knowledge base of each client's business, organisation, and objectives.
- Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Understand pricing model and billing procedures.
- Assist Project Manager in managing scope creep through client change orders, internal change orders, phased delivery, or other methods.
- Track and report hours and expenses on each project.
- Attend project reviews to analyse project profitability, revenue, margin, etc.
- Ensure all involved in project delivery understand the scope of work to meet customer's specification.
- Ensure each project runs in conjunction with QHSE processes, including the Construction Phase Plan.
- Identify, track, manage, and mitigate risk on each project.
- Ensure supply partners on site are aware of all items required for project files, H&S, toolbox talks, RAMS, site audits, commissioning, O&M's, permits to work, etc.
- Be in attendance on site for works, including any out-of-hours requirements.
- Ensure all variations to works are captured and reported to Head of Projects/Project Manager.
- Ensure all O&M manuals are complete and available prior to practical completion.
- The role is self-funding, and therefore the post holder must recover their costs.
The post holder has full responsibility and financial control of projects within their control.

Qualifications:
- Compliant with the training matrix for Project Site Supervisor for QHSE.
- Recognised technical qualification in construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar.
- Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy.
- APM.
- CDM regulations.
- SMSTS.
- IOSH.
- ILM2 - Principles of Team Leading.
