Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse to work with Lancashire Care on their Mental Health Inpatient wards at Furness General Hospital in England.

Estimated Salary: £38,964 - £44,688 per annum (£19.43 per hour)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of mental health patients.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting patients daily, providing tailored support plans in line with their specific diagnosis/prognosis
  • Building trusting relationships with patients, putting them at ease
  • Working closely with other mental healthcare professionals to agree the most appropriate treatment plans for those in your care
  • Keeping medical records up to date
  • Administering medication as appropriate
  • Talking through available therapies, support networks, social activities that may help to improve mental health and wellbeing

Requirements

To apply for this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with at least 2 years post-graduate experience. We also require you to be eligible to work in the UK.
