Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team at Alloga, a Cencora company. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process, ensuring accurate coding of invoices, and maintaining excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in procurement and purchasing, working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision, and intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will also possess a flexible approach to work and hours, as well as excellent professional telephone manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise orders for stationery, capital expenditure, and other ad hoc items requested.
- Ensure all invoices are coded to the correct general ledger, cost centre, and department codes.
- Inform the Assistant Finance Manager or Finance Manager of invoices for any costs to be recharged to clients.
- Work closely with other staff to ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger process.
- Respond to all requests for data from internal and external sources.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in procurement and purchasing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexible approach to work and hours.
- Excellent professional telephone manner.
