Downtown Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Thame, Oxfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles in our modern workshop. Your expertise in modern vehicles will be a valuable asset in removing car parts from accident-damaged vehicles for resale to the trade and general public. Key responsibilities include:

* Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and conscientious individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have previous motor mechanics/bodyshop experience, possession of their own set of tools, and fork lift driving experience (desirable but not essential). The starting salary is £27,000 per annum, with opportunities for a discretionary monthly bonus and petrol allowance upon successful completion of the 3-month probationary period. Benefits include discounted petrol, a pension scheme, and generous staff discounts on parts. Free parking is also available on site.
