We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Electrical Lecturer and Apprenticeship Assessor to join our team at Education Network Hull.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Course Development: Deliver high-quality teaching sessions, prepare and evaluate materials, and engage in course delivery and development to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Assessment and Marking: Assess student work and examinations, complete awarding body paperwork, and participate in moderation activities as needed.
  • Apprenticeship Support: Provide effective training and coaching to apprentices, helping them develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to succeed in their vocational field.
  • Course Management: Monitor and manage course information and data, including exam entries and liaison with awarding bodies.
  • Student Guidance and Support: Conduct interviews and offer advice and guidance to students, participate in student visits, and promote a culture of equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
  • Team Collaboration and Quality Improvement: Engage in course reviews, self-assessment, and quality improvement planning as part of the course delivery team.
  • Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification in an Engineering-related discipline.
  • A Level 6 or above teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS) or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.
  • A TAQA Assessor qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards obtaining it.
  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications or equivalent.
