We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at TRCGroup. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Operate Equipment Safely: Operate forklift trucks and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following established standards and SOPs.
- Maintain Plant Hygiene: Proactively maintain plant hygiene by adhering to cleaning plans, schedules, and ad-hoc cleaning requirements.
- Execute Tasks Efficiently: Execute given tasks, including operating equipment, in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with team members, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support others.
- Ensure Health and Safety Standards: Ensure site health and safety standards are met, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards creating a safe working environment.
- Maintain Hygiene Standards: Maintain overall hygiene standards, cleaning and maintaining the site, and encouraging the highest standards of housekeeping.
- Complete Accurate Conversions: Possess the ability to complete accurate conversions and changeovers to our clients' standards.
- Contribute to Process Development: Provide constant involvement in process development and improvement, following instructions and carrying out necessary tasks as instructed to meet supply chain targets.
- Assist with Management Requests: Assist with any reasonable management request to facilitate the safe delivery of goods.
- Review Processes and Suggest Improvements: Review your processes and suggest improvements as part of the supply chain continuous improvement ethos.
- Build Strong Working Relationships: Build strong working relationships with other crew members.
- Packing, Palletising, and Wrapping Goods: Pack, palletise, and wrap goods for shipment according to internal procedures.
- Carry Out Instructed Tasks: Carry out instructed tasks from supervisors and managers.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with others and help other members of the team with their tasks if needed.
- Take a Proactive Approach to Learning and Development: Take a proactive approach to individual learning and development to generate a greater understanding of areas that require improvement/development.
- Provide Support to Team Members: Provide support to other members of the Warehouse Operations and wider Production team where required/requested.
- Plan Time for Development: Plan the time to develop and personally improve both in the completion of day-to-day tasks and to create opportunities for advancement.
- Be Open-Minded to New Methods: Be open-minded to try new methods suggested or technologies to support the priorities of the team.
- Be Cautious with Resources: Be careful with resources and challenge others where you see wastage.
- Act Constructively on Feedback: Receive feedback and act constructively to make changes as appropriate.
- Seek Help When Needed: Seek help when needed and actively get to know other team members; looking to understand their roles and perspectives to better contribute to the success of the whole team.
