You will take ownership of the role, providing input to and producing weekly/monthly reports. Your responsibilities will include managing the supply of stock, stores, and consumables during delivery and installation. Additionally, you will work with operational teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and consumables.
As a Logistics Supply Chain Manager, you will effectively delegate workload across the team, ensuring priorities are managed. You will also complete site surveys and audits, leading on cost by actively pursuing cost reduction or cost avoidance activity.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to solve problems and coordinate various processes. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply of stock, stores, and consumables during delivery and installation.
- Work with operational teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and consumables.
- Provide input to and produce weekly/monthly reports.
- Effectively delegate workload across the team, ensuring priorities are managed.
- Complete site surveys and audits.
- Lead on cost by actively pursuing cost reduction or cost avoidance activity.
Requirements:
- Strong stakeholder management experience and experience managing a small team.
- Prior exposure to operating within a large-scale, complex programme or similar industries.
- Experience of project management and project control processes and tools.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and toolsets.
- SHE awareness, experience leading by example at a high standard.
- MCIPS qualified or equivalent, working towards CIPS or suitable experience in a relevant role.
Salary Range: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
