Job Description

Oyster is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly management and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure all tax requirements are met, including the preparation of tax packs and liaison with tax advisors.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide support to the Senior Finance Team in the management and development of management accountants.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the production of monthly financial accounts for each subsidiary, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Bank Covenant Reporting: Prepare quarterly bank covenant reports, including financials, covenants, and ratio analysis.
  • Treasury Management: Manage treasury and foreign accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Participate in ad hoc analysis and projects as needed, providing expert financial guidance and support.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualification: Qualified or training towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc.).
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the industry, with strong system skills, including advanced Excel.
