We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologist to join our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our radiology department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that offers a wide range of opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting imaging studies, diagnosing and treating patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, including 5T Siemens MRI scanners and 5 cutting-edge CT scanners.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of general principles, scientific method, and interpretation of literature
  • Credibility and integrity, with evidence of personal research projects and their presentation
  • Attended a National Health Service Management Course appropriate to Consultant duties
  • Evidence of participation in audit projects
  • Demonstrate CPD to enhance quality of work
  • Basic IT skills for the use of email, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the training or development of trainees in medicine
