Job Title: Clinical Fellow in Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow in Rehabilitation to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining ST3 General Surgery
  • Manage acute surgery and trauma admissions, as well as organize and manage outpatient priorities, surgical waiting lists, and operating lists
  • Teach medical students and apply research outcomes to clinical and surgical problems
  • Lead a team of registrars, SHOs, and Foundation doctors
  • Meet the GMC's requirements for English language proficiency
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong clinical background in General Surgery
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Commitment to continuing medical education
  • Willingness to undertake additional professional responsibilities
