Additionally, you will carry out function tests on plant equipment before issuing it to teams and manage the GCU Workshop Tagging System for proper storage and quarantine. It is essential that you maintain a safe working environment by adhering to workshop health and safety practices and ensuring the proper use of workshop tools and chemicals. Your time management skills will play a crucial role in meeting deadlines and maintaining a productive work environment. To be successful in this role, you should be time-served, holding a City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, ideally with an IRTEC Commercial Inspection Qualification. Previous experience in a relevant fitter or technician role is essential.
