We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Small Tools Engineer to join our team at HSS Hire Group. As a key member of our equipment maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of our hire equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maximum workshop productivity and meet company targets.
  • Provide expert advice on equipment defects and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate service records and update internal computer systems.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting HSEQ and teamwork within the depot.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and numerical skills.
  • Manual handling experience is an asset.
