We are currently seeking a highly experienced Capital Markets Data Director to join our team. As a key member of our data practice, you will drive the growth of our industry-recognised data strategy and advisory capabilities in the capital markets domain.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies that help our clients achieve their business outcomes through data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with our clients to understand their data challenges and provide expert advice on data management, analytics, and technology.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects with some of the largest banks in the world, transforming the financial services industry. You will also contribute to the development of our data practice, shaping our offerings and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track-record of driving data change and delivering lasting results for your clients. You will possess excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data strategies that deliver business outcomes for our clients
  • Provide expert advice on data management, analytics, and technology to clients
  • Work closely with clients to understand their data challenges and develop solutions
  • Contribute to the development of our data practice, shaping our offerings and services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery of client projects

Salary: $180,000 - $230,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data consulting, preferably in a senior management or director position
  • 5+ years of experience in the capital markets industry
  • Demonstrable experience providing deep capital markets data advisory at C-suite level
  • Extensive experience partnering with financial institutions to shape and operationalize data strategies at an enterprise level
  • Passion for providing high-quality data advisory that delivers lasting change
  • Experience in spearheading new business opportunities, including through structured account and domain planning and pipeline management
  • Highly effective communication, rapport-building, and influencing skills
