Job Title: Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team in Eastbourne. As a newly qualified General Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with experienced healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a primary care setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surgeries, conducting telephone consultations, visiting patients at home, and managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and COPD. You will also be required to participate in the Enhanced Access Service via a rota system.

This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, with the possibility of ongoing employment if funding allows. The PCN is committed to supporting your professional development and providing a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform autonomous general practitioner duties, working independently and with other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  • To manage chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and COPD, ensuring optimal long-term care.
  • To participate in the Enhanced Access Service via a rota system.

Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified General Practitioner with under 2 years from gaining their CCT.
  • National Performers List registration (England).

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
