About the Role
Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Department Administrator to provide comprehensive administration services to the Consultant Radiologists, radiology team, and private patients. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for efficient administration in all aspects of patient appointment booking and reception duties, processing referral forms, and responding to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointment bookings and reception duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process referral forms and liaise with GP's, Consultants, and other hospital staff regarding imaging reports and appointments.
- Respond to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Manage workload effectively and support administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives.
- Work with CRIS and PACS computer systems to ensure seamless administration.
- Assist in the smooth and efficient running of Radiology services, including image transferring between hospitals.
Requirements
- Excellent organisational and IT skills, with the ability to use initiative and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing a professional and empathetic service.
- Reliable and professional, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is desirable, as is previous experience in a healthcare administrative role.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload is essential.
