Pioneer Selection is recruiting for a Controls and Automation Engineer to join their team in the Industrial manufacturing sector. As a Controls and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial processes. This will involve programming of PLC and Robot systems, integration of new machines, and liaison with other engineers. A degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with extensive PLC programming experience and robot programming skills. Project management experience is also desirable. The salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, making it an attractive option for those looking to advance their careers. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive benefits such as pension, private healthcare, and a cycle scheme. With plenty of overtime available, you can earn additional income by working extra days at a rate of 1.25 times your holiday allowance.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be able to troubleshoot complex control system issues. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
