SHEQ Manager

As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems across our high-temperature incineration facility. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

1. Health and Safety Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight of health and safety activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
2. Safety Management Systems: Develop and maintain effective safety management systems, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures.
3. Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations related to clinical and hazardous waste incineration.
4. Quality Assurance: Oversee the site quality control program, report monthly on quality performance, and implement all relevant procedures.

1. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in SHEQ management or Health & Safety Engineer, preferably in waste management or industrial settings.
3. Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation, particularly related to waste incineration.
4. Experience with high-temperature incineration processes and associated risks.

Estimated salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
