Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Hindley Green. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teachers and providing individualized support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:- Support children with SEN in a one-to-one setting, promoting inclusion and acceptance.
- Work collaboratively with the teacher to plan, evaluate, and adjust lessons to meet the needs of all students.
- Deliver catch-up sessions and provide additional support to students who require it.
- Ensure that students are on task and completing their work to a good standard.
- Recent experience supporting children in an education or social care setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to actively listen.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
- Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher and be reliable and punctual.
- Two suitable references covering the last two years.
