Clinical Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team at Spire Norwich. As a key member of our healthcare department, you will be responsible for leading the inpatient services team and ensuring the efficient and safe running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the inpatient services team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Spire policies.
- Develop and implement effective clinical governance strategies to ensure the safety and quality of patient care.
- Manage staff performance, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to support the development of the team.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to develop and implement departmental strategies and plans.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to achieve departmental goals.
- Manage and resolve complaints and patient feedback, using the learning points to drive improvements in patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and Spire policies regarding patient information.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare standards and manage issues of governance and risk effectively.
- Experience in a clinical management role, ideally in a busy surgical ward.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, supported by professional registration and additional training.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with difficult and sensitive issues.
- Ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on staff development and well-being.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex issues.
